It is the policy of the Lion Group’s flat steel products unit to achieve maximum satisfaction by providing customers with products that meet their quality requirement according to international specifications in the most effective manner. Hence, quality is an integral part of the Group’s steel production operations.
The steel products are tested to meet the physical, dimensional and application requirements in accordance with ASTM, BS, JIS, DIN and EN or other standards. This facilitates the monitoring of the quality, integrity and approval of all its products.

Stringent control of steel cleanliness during LF treatment, and usage of high percentage of HDRI and HBI for certain high quality applications.

Every heat is checked for correction chemistry.

Testing to conform to standard requirements comprising tensile, bend, hardness and impact tests. |

Conducted on all products, assuring zero surface / internal defect. |

MACRO EXAMINATION |

Macro specimens are analysed to conform to application properties.
